PAYMENT: Terms of the sale are cash and approved check.  We reserve the right to retain any livestock until the check clears the paying institution.  Writing an insufficient funds check for a livestock purchase will be turned over to our attorney for prosecution.  Immediate legal action will be taken. 

  BIDDING: The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.  Announcements made on sale day take precedence over any printed material. 

BUYERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES:  All livestock become the buyer’s responsibility as soon as sold.  The buyer shall sign an acknowledgement of purchase when settling his/her account in the office.  Livestock may not leave the premises until settlement is made on all purchases.  Failure to remove livestock within 24 hours of the sale will obligate the buyer to pay all costs associated with the care of the animals.  We act as agents only.  Any disputes regarding livestock will be between the buyer and the seller.   

LIABILITY: Any person attending this sale does so at his own risk.  Neither the owners, sale management, nor any other person connected with this sale assumes any liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident which may occur.  

REGISTRATION & TRANSFER: It will be the responsibility of the buyer to transfer any livestock registration papers into their own name. 

ABSENTEE BIDS: Anyone wishing to bid who is unable to attend the sale should do their best to make arrangements for another individual to do their bidding.  If you are unable to find someone to bid for you we will be glad to take telephone bids.  Sale day phone numbers: 276-223-0003 (barn) 

RETURN CHECK FEE: There will be a $25.00 fee for any returned checks.
